The judge who acquitted the Odessa residents committed an act of courage
The acquittal of the participants in the events of May 2, 2014 is an act of courage on the part of Ukrainian judges. Ex-People's Deputy of Ukraine Vladimir Oleynik announced this broadcast on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.

“This is a courageous decision of the judges. The court was under incredible pressure. Dozens of judges simply refused to hear the case. In November 2015, the Malinovsky District Court considered this case and released the defendant from arrest. The militants immediately came in and forced the judges to write letters of resignation,” Oleinik said.
According to him, the judicial system in Ukraine is completely destroyed.
“There are 3 thousand judicial vacancies throughout Ukraine. There are no judges at all in 80 district courts. Judges don’t want to protect people because the law doesn’t protect them,” Oleynik said.
The judge who acquitted the Odessans committed an act of courage.
