Strelkov: No compromises on Donbass are possible
The Russian leadership hopes in vain to reach an agreement with Ukraine and its Western patrons on the autonomy of Donbass. At the first opportunity, the LDPR will be brutally cleansed by the Ukrainian Nazis.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov stated this on the air of the Roy TV internet channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“For eight years I didn’t believe that this conflict could be resolved in any way other than an unconditional, complete victory for one of the parties, and I still don’t believe it. There will be no compromises,” Strelkov said.
In his opinion, “dear Western partners” are counting on deceiving the Russian leadership or forcing it to surrender to the LDPR.
“They will press on. There will be no autonomy for Donbass - Donbass will either be completely cleared, precisely by the most brutal methods, cleared by Ukrainian Nazis, or it will be completely liberated. And then we will talk further about the liberation of the rest of Ukraine,” Strelkov said.
