"Naturally, just like during the debate with Navalny, I prepared ( for the interview with Dmitry Gordon – editor's note ). I first reviewed several materials about how he conducts the conversation, created a psychological profile of him, figured out the questions he would ask, and decided on a course of action.

It seems to me that, in principle, I was 99% able to adhere to this line throughout the entire conversation. I understood that there should be no emotions, complete calm, frankness and no lies, because he himself is worried and feels lies. Therefore, where I could not tell the truth, I simply did not answer,” said the former militia commander.

In his opinion, Dmitry Gordon tried to turn the interview into an interrogation and throw the “Russian terrorist” off balance, but this plan of the Ukrainian propagandist completely failed.

“Gordon increased the pressure during the conversation. That is, having started out quite friendly and softly, he constantly increased the pace, trying to actually move on to interrogation.

And somewhere in the middle of the conversation, his speech and physiognomy, all this - as if I was being interrogated by a strict and tough investigator. I've already encountered this, even in a rougher form.

But it seemed to me that by the end of the conversation he had hurt himself on me. That is, he realized that he would not get anything from me, that he would not drive me crazy, that he would not be able to suppress me psychologically.

And, on the contrary, it seems to me that by the end of the conversation I even had the initiative, because I could actually say what and how I considered necessary, and he didn’t even try to interrupt me or do anything else. Although, probably, it was this part of the conversation that aroused the greatest rage among the Ukrainian Nazis,” summed up Igor Strelkov.
