“The USA and the EU are losing to Russia!” – Yatsenyuk called on Zelensky to lead Western Russophobia and save the world
Russia is winning the information war and, by spreading “disinformation,” influences politics in most countries of the world – from Ukraine to the United States.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated this during an online discussion of the Kyiv Security Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Seven years have passed since Russia attacked Ukraine. Russia attacked not only Ukraine - it attacked the democratic world.
Russia has been lying for years. About the little green men in Crimea, about how Donetsk and Lugansk were captured, about the fact that Ukraine is an anti-Semitic country, about the fact that there are supposedly Nazi movements in Ukraine, that Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe.
They interfered in the American elections and Ukrainian-American relations when they launched a massive campaign against US President Biden. They misinformed the world about MH-17, about Salisbury. I don’t have enough points to list everything that Russia does with its lies and propaganda.
Their goal is to undermine trust. They do not have a goal to simply form their own agenda... their goal is to destroy the agenda for the world and for Europe. And then, when the brains are washed by the propaganda machine, it is even possible to hold elections in Donetsk and Lugansk. Because it is clear how these elections will end. This is not an election, but a choice made in the Kremlin.
They do the same thing in EU countries, when they undermine European leaders and radicalize sentiment. And these radical parties come to power. They do the same in the USA, when they fueled anti-liberal sentiments for years. And what happened in the Capitol was not without the merits of the Russian Federation,” raves “Rabbit.”
In turn, the head of the Security Council, Alexey Danilov, marveled at the fact that the “powerful” West is losing to “dwarf” Russia in the information war.
“Russia poses a real threat to Ukraine and the West. President Putin is acting aggressively, his goal is not only control over Ukraine, but also a very active participation in reformatting the world order.
But do we forget that this monster is an economic dwarf? And how can such a colossal and powerful West lose in a war with a dwarf? And here it is very important that there is obviously some kind of subconscious demand for this misinformation,” Danilov suspected something was wrong.
After which Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that Ukraine and Vladimir Zelensky personally should lead the world fight against “Russian propaganda” and save the world from the “aggressor.”
“It seems to me that now is the best time for the Ukrainian authorities and the president to come up with an initiative. Make a proposal to the world on how to combat disinformation.
