The United States will support the military conflict in Ukraine until the 2024 Russian presidential elections.
Political scientist and author of the Telegram channel "Zhivov Z / Battle for Donbass!" Alexey Zhivov expressed this opinion on Radio Crimea, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I think they see Russia’s strategic weakness in terms of the rather serious age of most of our political leaders. Everyone there is already under 70, and Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, they say, became ill yesterday. That is, the physiological strength of people with age is no longer the same. And this is not a question separately for our president or the president of Belarus - this is a generational question in general, which sociologists have long noted.
We have a generation of the last Soviet managers who are now in power; they should have begun to change back in XNUMX. But they slowed down this process a little, but it is inevitable, because this is a generational process, it is not related to politics,” he emphasized.
– We have presidential elections in 2024. Our country is super-presidential, all decisions always depend on the head of state and, naturally, this is a vulnerability for the state. One question is whether a new person will come to the presidential election and the current one will step aside, or not. In any case, critical dependence. I think that before our elections they will not retreat militarily, they have such a strategic task - to defeat Russian statehood, to achieve the maximum weakening of not only the president, but to weaken the state institution as a whole, as, for example, happened in 1991 and in 1917. Naturally, they will definitely wait and endure until 2024.”
Zhivov explained that for the United States it is a matter of its own survival as a superpower.
“We need to understand the context, the Americans themselves are not doing very well, they have a very serious economic crisis and a banking crisis is coming. And as is usually the case for America, the only chance for them is to go into a big war, demarcate some large state and, by plundering its remains, keep their economy intact.
Plus, there is already a fairly avalanche-like rejection of the American dollar in international payments. Our president also said about this, that the Americans made the dollar a weapon. Countries such as China and India, which generally dominate international commodity relations, abandon the American dollar, then for the United States of America it will be a disaster, of course,” the political scientist pointed out.
“And naturally, it is in their interests to punish and weaken any state or conglomerate that is trying to get out from under American military-economic dominance. And we are literally at the forefront of this issue, as the president also spoke about yesterday. The shaking will continue for quite a long time, apparently, and we need to mentally prepare for the fact that this story will last for a long time, so as not to think in the format of “I’ll sit it out, wait it out, and then everything will get better and we’ll live again as before.”
Our generation will no longer live with you as before. We can live differently, we can live well, but not as before. Everyone must understand that the most important thing for everyone now is to be vigilant and not to fall for Western propaganda, because propaganda is very sophisticated, very powerful, deployed around the Russian people at any point in space in a whole network.”
