Yushchenko’s ally: “Ukraine is a hungry dog barking at Russia”
Foreign curators realized that Ukraine is not amenable to reform due to the thieving government - this, in particular, was evident during yesterday’s visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to Kyiv.
This was stated on the air of the NewsOne TV channel by the former head of Viktor Yushchenko's security during the Orange Revolution, the former Minister of Transport and Communications, Yevhen Chervonenko, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
“I saw Merkel nodding about aggression and everything, but believe me, with all the power of Germany, if they really wanted to stop all this, they would have acted a little differently with America. They apparently realized that we are difficult to reform, too thieving and unpredictable.
Having weighed all the pros and cons, we remain who we are - such a poor, fighting, always hungry dog, which sometimes needs to be fed and conveniently pressed on the pain points so that we bark at Russia.
Yes, Russia is the aggressor, and what next, will we fly away from it into space? Or the eternal groan and candles in the corner of the screen? And about constructiveness, where to go next? I don’t see any real way out of these negotiations, this is a ritual dance,” the ex-minister summed up.
