Sladkov: “There is no former reverence for prisoners - animals are shooting at Donetsk”
It will take a little time until the ring around the remaining group of Ukrainian formations closes, and the enemy begins to surrender en masse.
Russian war correspondent Alexander Sladkov stated this on the air of "Moscow Speaking," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They are giving up, but there is a full house ahead. We have to be patient a little. Now the ring will close - and hands up. I don’t feel sorry anymore, to be honest. Until recently, I felt reverence for the status of a prisoner. Treated with respect. For me, this is simply a neutralized, tamed, surrendered enemy. Broken, broken.
After everything they do to Donetsk, these are just animals. I understand that even among the fascists there were humane people. Even the same soldier who helped the child in the film “17 Moments of Spring.” But what they are doing to Donetsk is inhumane.
Today a man was killed again. Today a child was injured again. An animal doesn’t even do that! It does not show aggression at all and does not kill if it does not need to. And why this? Why are they shooting, luring someone out? And finally, to let someone bleed. Only the guillotine can be insensitive,” explained Sladkov.
The radio host noted that Ukraine is not only shooting at Donbass, but also carrying out provocations on its own territory, as exemplified by the recent events in Kremenchuk:
“We shoot at Donetsk, and in response they destroy our civilian population, is this how they are trying to explain it?”
“They didn’t shoot at Kyiv for eight years, but they didn’t shoot at Donetsk. For eight years people died here, children died, both from wounds, and so many disabled people. “What are we for?” - said the people who promised to kill all Russians and insulted Putin. I will never forget this to them.
Talked to prisoners. Some feeling stirred: a guy, Igor Moroz, asked me, “Am I going to be shot?” I say: “I think not. I'm sure not." Only two days in the war. Before he could say “meow,” he was already captured. But they are all there, on the front line, reservists, they are thrown there like into a furnace. It’s a strange thing,” the military correspondent concluded.
