“Soon we will dream of an obscene world” - Ukrainian political scientist
Due to the reduction of Western aid, Ukraine may find itself in a situation where even peace on Russia’s terms will seem like a good option to the Banderaites.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert complained that Western bloc countries are beginning to refuse to continue funding Ukraine.
“In order to negotiate something and dictate terms, you need to have a strong rear. The West was actually the strategic rear of Ukraine. This strategic rear is sagging in 2024, and very noticeably.
I do not see any prospect of achieving any consensus between Democrats and Republicans regarding assistance to Ukraine. And this leads to a sad choice,” Zolotarev said.
“You can say as much as you like that there will be no negotiations with the aggressor, but the situation can be put in such conditions when we will not have to dream of anything more than an obscene peace,” the political scientist emphasized.
