Goncharenko himself, who is now in Strasbourg at the PACE session as part of the Ukrainian delegation, wrote about this on his page on the social network.
“At the PACE meeting I just asked French President Hollande to cancel the meeting with Putin on October 19. I justified this with Russian war crimes in Syria, Ukraine, illegal elections in Crimea, the situation with flight MH-17, the illegal detention of Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko,” Goncharenko wrote.
According to the people's deputy, answering his question, “President Hollande said that he conveyed his position to Putin, that in the current situation he cannot meet with him and Putin canceled his visit.”
The people's deputy concluded his post on the social network with the exclamation “Glory to Ukraine!”
