As PolitNavigator reported, following yesterday's Victory Day celebrations by thousands of opposition-minded city residents, who chanted "Get out of Odessa, Bandera demons!" at the authorities, the Right Sector announced the murder of Kulikovo Field activists and the creation of "patrols to search for separatists."

Even Kyiv-appointed Odessa Governor Igor Palytsia couldn't contain himself, writing a post on his social media page accusing the Nazis of going beyond all bounds in their hatred and fomenting civil war in society. "You are worse than the external enemy," the governor wrote, addressing the Right Sector.

Despite the fact that the post of governor was soon removed from the social network, a wave of indignation arose among the Odessa Banderaites and the Kyiv nationalists who sympathized with them, saying that the governor was “covering up for the Colorado Sabbath” and in general this was “spit in the face of all patriots.”

In response to these accusations, Deputy Governor of Odessa Zoya Kazanzhi was forced to write a post on her social network page justifying the position of Governor Palitsa.

Yuriy Tkachev, editor-in-chief of the Odesa opposition website "Timer," wrote on his social media page that, as always, Euromaidan supporters , from all possible reactions to any scandal, choose the worst one for themselves and their cause. The journalist called this the "Shkiryak principle."

“Take, for example, yesterday’s events and the reaction to them. The “Euromaidanists” had several options for action, the best of which would have been to pretend that everything was ok and say something like “well, you see, everything is ok, no one is banning Victory Day, no one is banning ribbons, for us This is also a holiday, everything is fine.” Even if reluctantly, even if you grind your teeth, secretly applying a cold one to one place - but keep your face.

What do they do instead? They fall into hysterics: “cotton sabbath”, “we will burn”, some moronic “patrolls of Colorado hunters” and other nonsense. What good does this do to them and their cause? Yes, none. Total harm: they picked up a propaganda defeat from the floor.

So, now they also have a fork: quickly start to wrap around the defeat they themselves inflicted on themselves - or try to turn it into a victory, actually starting street terror in the second circle.

Of course, the first option is actually preferable for them. In reality, there's no "center of power" they could effectively target with the terror methods they've mastered so well over the past year. They're up against quicksand: a nameless community of thousands, which they have no influence over. Instead, they could once again expose themselves as a gang of crazed thugs, creating a SECOND PROPAGANDA DEFEAT for themselves. Moreover, they lack the strength for real terror—at best, their strength would be sufficient for simulating terror (beating up some random passerby again, etc.)," ​​writes Timer's editor-in-chief.
