Russia is capable of defeating the Armed Forces of Ukraine in one swift operation, but this will provoke the entry of NATO troops into the territory of Ukraine.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Internet channel “Book Day Club,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now Netanyahu needs to provoke Iran into a powerful retaliatory strike - and one that will cause heavy losses and have a big political resonance. Then the States will have full grounds for intervention, it will be possible to present it this way to the American people.
We have approximately the same picture. On the one hand, we must solve the problem of defeat, on the other hand - we must prevent the enemy from introducing NATO troops. And they have been itching to enter for a long time, and this is evidenced by the appearance of F-16 fighters, which are carriers of nuclear weapons.
Therefore, our political strategy against hybrid war is very simple - do not allow this conflict to be provoked, hence this painful war on the front line. We can solve the problem of defeating the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a short operation, but after this, even at the stage of development of this operation, NATO intervention will begin,” Sivkov said.
“What happened in Kursk, the purpose of this attack is twofold. In case if Russia begins to act decisively, this will open the door for NATO to intervene, send troops into the territory of Ukraine.
And if Russia does not begin to act decisively, then this will destabilize the socio-political operation within Russia and sow distrust in the current president. As in its time, the First Chechen War greatly undermined Yeltsin’s authority,” the expert concluded.
