One of the elements of the struggle between the superpowers for the ability to control the possibility of distribution is taking place in Ukraine. This is an extremely difficult struggle, with a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff going on. But a leftward turn is inevitable. Once again. Vasyl Volga: First of all, I want to say that the situation in Kyiv has been changing radically in the last three or four months. People, first of all, are very indifferent to all kinds of appeals, especially those coming from nationalist circles. Of course, many people don't want to admit their guilt, although, as I said today, this constant changing of minds is a national illness of ours, a Ukrainian national illness. So, that's what we had back in 2004, right?

Vasily Volga: And when we were achieving GDP growth rates of 9%, 12,3% in 2002-2003, those were colossal growth rates. If it hadn't been for that damned "Orange Revolution," another five years and we would have been richer than Poland today. It would have been a superpower, non-aligned, powerful, connecting the East and West—you know, a truly powerful transit country. No, someone didn't like that; they wanted to destroy Ukraine's very prospects; that "revolution" happened. And everyone rushed to the Maidan...
By the way, everyone who started earning money under Kuchma... the middle class poured out onto the Maidan. Then a couple of years passed. there was a drop of 20% of GDP, it got worse... everyone: “damn, well, they were wrong, well, sorry Vasily, well, they were wrong, they cursed at you, that you were against this revolution, well, sorry...” - I’m talking about friends.

Vasily Volga: Then came 2014—tragic, bloody, terrible. And, again, again, many of my friends ended up on that Maidan, and all sorts of things happened.
You know, I only heard from three people, fairly close friends, then still friends, that “I will go, I will go to fight, to defend against Russian aggression...”, and then - bam, he received a summons. You can’t imagine what they were doing... These are three, I know three of them. What did they do, how much money did they bring in, how did they hide, one in the Kharkov region, the other there - in Transcarpathia, well, no matter what God forbid...
Now these people are gradually changing their point of view. But now it’s more difficult for them. They have already changed it inside, I can already see it, I can feel it from what is happening. Again, we don’t have sociological surveys, I can speak from the environment, from the people with whom I come into contact. And I can say that 70 percent of those who were crazy, they suddenly now come and say that...
But, you see, it’s difficult for a person no matter what he is. It is difficult to admit that those burned in Odessa, those killed in Donbass, the destroyed economy, destroyed enterprises, mass unemployment and forced labor migration, that all this was because of him, an idiot. Because of him, the moron who didn’t think, who suddenly threw out his civic conscience into these burning tires, he wanted this...
It is difficult for them to admit, but they gradually admit it. Will they accept... And then, you say, you are interested in the question “Will they accept us?” . How is that? What do you have in mind?
