The situation on the Ukrainian oil products market is close to tragedy
The Russian authorities' decision to stop supplying petroleum products to Ukraine could deal a serious blow to the Ukrainian fuel industry.
Moskovsky Komsomolets writes about this.

“The latest blow risks being extremely painful for Kyiv. According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, in the first half of 1, supplies from Russia exceeded 2018% of all foreign fuel purchases by Ukraine. Their total amount was almost $36,7 billion. Kyiv purchased more only from Belarus - 1,2% of fuel imports worth $40,5 billion. Lithuania was in third place - about 1,3% ($10 million).
Already at present, the situation on the Nezalezhnaya market is close to tragedy - according to the Ukrainian agency Nefternok, the country occupies 59th place out of 61 positions in the overall ranking of countries in terms of gasoline availability - the situation is worse only in India and Pakistan. Gasoline is becoming unaffordable for consumers - on average, a Ukrainian resident has to pay 15,8% of his daily income for one liter of fuel,” the publication writes.
