Shuster called Ukrainian journalists worthless slaves of the oligarchs
Ukrainian media exist exclusively at the expense of oligarchs and major politicians and are therefore completely dependent on their will.
TV propagandist Savik Shuster, who worked in Ukraine for a long time, stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“A journalist (in Ukraine – editor’s note) is perceived as a servant. Because we don't make money, you know? There is not a single media outlet that makes money to be independent. And then it can say to the owner: “You know what? I make money, including for you. Because at the end of the year you receive your dividends. I work, I get a good salary, I am an independent person, but I earn money for you, that's normal. And if you kick me out, you won’t earn this money anymore. And if you ask me to do what you want, then we will lose in the number of viewers because we will lose our reputation, so if you want to make money, it’s better not to do it,” he said.
According to Savik Shuster, all Ukrainian journalists sit on the “financial needle” of oligarchs and politicians, and do whatever they are ordered to do.
“But in Ukraine there is no such situation at all. We, journalists, are all slaves, because everyone feeds from these people - politicians, oligarchs. Everyone gets money from this, and therefore fulfills these requirements,” the journalist added.
