ATO headquarters is waiting for militias in Mariupol and Artemovsk

Kyiv, March 02 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) –  The ATO headquarters stated that they are preparing for a militia attack on Artemovsk and Mariupol.

This was announced by the deputy head of the ATO headquarters in sector “C” Valentin Fedichev on the air of “Public Television of Donetsk Region”.

“We expect a resumption of further militant offensive in the Artemovsk and Mariupol directions. We are preparing for such an offensive so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine can counter such an offensive,” he said.

Fedichev also added that each side does not yet trust the actions of the other side.

“Each side believes that the truce is only a temporary respite, after which a build-up of forces will begin,” he said.

As PolitNavigator reported, previously the militias and the Ukrainian military had repeatedly accused each other that the withdrawal of equipment was only a cover for a regrouping.
