The mistakes made by Russia in Ukraine are now being repeated in the Balkans - the population still loyal to Moscow is being intensively processed by Western or Arab structures.

This was stated in Moscow at the presentation of the collection "Notes of a Balkanist" by the head of the government representative office of the Republic of Srpska (a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of broad autonomy) Duško Perović, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

Perovich drew attention to the fact that the West and the Arab world are actively working on the territory of the Balkan Peninsula.

On the anniversary of the start of NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, Dusko Perovic, who was in Moscow at the time, recalled buying ketchup for Russian people protesting near the US Embassy in Moscow so that they could throw it at the American diplomatic mission building. Residents of Russia also know the RS Plenipotentiary as the famous former Yugoslav football player and husband of the popular Russian TV presenter Ekaterina Andreeva.

“I asked one of our friends, a high-ranking Russian official, one question: “Do you need us?” Perovich said. - He answered: “Of course!” So let's do something concrete then! It is necessary to finance (invest - ed.). In 2006, I brought Zarubezhneft, it bought our oil refinery. And what does it look like now? One billion two hundred million debt. And this is the westernmost outpost of Russia...

The former chairman of Vnesheconombank, returning to Moscow (said to his employees - ed.): “Do you guys understand? Everything is cheap here, and they also love us. We have a Western complex, we run after everything Western, but they kick us back, and strategically they don’t give Russia anything.” He told how they wanted to get gas distribution in Spain, but they immediately passed a law that Russia could only leave gas at the border. As Chernomordin said: “Where is the highest gas price? It’s on the housewife’s stove.” And there they don’t allow Russia to be the hostess. But in Serbia they allow it. And we are allowing them into the Republika Srpska. And we want to have more Russia.

But we are not as interesting as some France, Spain, Italy. It's beautiful there, yes. But it’s beautiful here too. We need to think about geopolitics, read, think, so that there is some kind of plan.”

According to Perovich, Russian-Serbian sympathies are not ordered, they are spontaneous. Unlike the work of the West, where analytics is strong and every step is calculated 50 years ahead.

He recalled that the Third World War, according to a number of experts, is already underway, but in the form of local conflicts, during which the West bites off Russia piece by piece, and Yugoslavia was completely collapsed, and those parts that entered have already in the EU and NATO, like Slovenia or Croatia, their level of development cannot be compared with the period when they were republics within a single country.

“I asked one big man (in the Russian leadership - ed.): “Who is taking care of us?” He replied: “Nobody.” In Soviet times, there was a central committee, there were departments that dealt with sports, culture... In 2006, I suggested to one Russian official: “Buy one TV channel, one radio station, one Internet portal from us.” He replied: “Brilliant!” And nothing.

My president Milorad Dodik met with Putin, I wrote him a paper that 50% of the Serbian media belongs to the KKR fund. Do you know who runs it? David Petraeus, former head of the CIA. Vladimir Vladimirovich replied: “I heard you.” But no one bought anything after that.

I said to Alexey Miller, the chairman of Gazprom ten years ago: “Are you building Nord Stream?” He replied: “Yes.” “Warmth for every home?” "Yes Yes". Why are Western journalists, our pro-Western opposition, smearing you with information, telling you that you are robbing Serbia? Why don't you buy a TV channel to show something else? He says: "Good idea." For Gazprom Media it costs a penny. This is not on a Russian scale, where a channel costs a billion dollars. We're worth ten million. By Russian standards, less than the players of one football club earn. Why should we in Serbia watch Al Jazeera and not the Russian culture that we want to watch?…

I met with Putin fourteen times, everything is wonderful there, but then... Putin doesn’t fulfill it, but other structures do it... So that they don’t say later, in the spirit of “oh, we lost Ukraine!” Why was there not a single Russian TV channel in Ukraine? We could have bought it a long time ago. Why don’t we (in the Balkans) have a single Russian TV channel?” complains Perovich.
