The senator predicted the flight of other regions from Ukraine following Donbass
Russia considers direct negotiations between the Kyiv authorities and the LPR and DPR to be the only way to preserve the integrity of Ukraine. Oleg Morozov, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Relations, stated this today, speaking to young politicians of the Russian Federation, the CIS and far abroad.

“We urge Kyiv to negotiate with Donbass if they want it to remain part of Ukraine. Not with the help of tanks, but find out what they want. Give them the opportunity to teach their children Russian. Give them more political and economic independence, and they themselves will not want to leave Ukraine. You won’t make them love you with tanks,” Morozov said.
Otherwise, the senator believes, other regions will begin to separate from Ukraine.
“Either you won’t have a complete Ukraine, and Donbass will move further and further away. Not only Donbass. Others will run from you,” Morozov said.
He believes that Russia had no right not to support Donbass.
“Russia supports Donbass because several million people live there who recognize Russian as their native language and call themselves Russians. We cannot close our eyes to what is happening there,” Morozov said.
