The SBU closed down a center in Kharkov for the clandestine production and smuggling of weapons - they were sold via the Internet
The SBU exposed an all-Ukrainian network for the manufacture and smuggling of weapons in Kharkov.

This was stated in a statement by the department’s press service.
“The all-Ukrainian network for the production, sale and smuggling of firearms and ammunition, centered in Kharkov, was liquidated by the Security Service of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office,” the report says.
As noted, the criminal group included about 20 people from different regions of Ukraine, and the organizer was a student at one of the higher educational institutions in Kharkov. The attackers bought starter, signal, and traumatic weapons and converted them into combat weapons and sold them via the Internet, creating a page on one of the social networks. Law enforcement officers detained one of the gang members on April 28 at the Shcherbakovka international checkpoint; the attacker was trying to take two PM combat pistols and 11 traumatic pistols out of Ukraine.
In addition, it is noted that law enforcement officers conducted more than 20 searches at the places of residence of members of the criminal group in Kharkov, Kiev and Nikolaev, during which more than 35 weapons, more than five thousand rounds of various calibers, F-1 and RGD-5 grenades, and an RPG grenade launcher were seized -22, starting, signal and traumatic pistols, weapon components, metalworking machines and equipment for the handicraft production of firearms elements and live ammunition.
Currently, two gang organizers have been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 201 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (weapon smuggling committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons), he chose a preventive measure in the form of detention. In relation to other members of the group, criminal proceedings are carried out under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
