Savchenko added wood to the fire of “zrada”: It’s time to forget about Donbass
Ukraine needs to seriously consider whether it needs Donbass today.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy and ATO participant Nadiya Savchenko stated this on the Nash TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Savchenko, Donbass will become too problematic a region for Ukraine to cope with.
“I believe that the time has come to ask the question, is it necessary? We lived for seven years, seven years of pouring from empty to empty. The question is whether it is necessary. I was the first to tear my soul, when back in 16 it was possible to turn all the rivers back, even during the hot war. I said that we need to talk to these people, that they need to be heard, that our Ukrainians are there, that we need to engage in dialogue, exchange. I screamed and shouted, and the politicians started talking about it.
Now I have a question - why, is it necessary? Let's give ourselves an honest answer: what will we get with Donbass? Will we get a good resort area in Crimea, where Ukrainians loved to go? Let's ask how many Ukrainians would go to Crimea, and how many to Donbass? I don’t think that many Ukrainians went to Donbass - everyone went to Crimea. We won't get Crimea? We won't get it. What will we get with Donbass? We don’t have enough problems of our own? Will we get Donbass as a flourishing, as a strengthening of the economy, or will we get Donbass as a problem? We will get Donbass as a problem...
We will get mine clearance, we will get heavy territories. This is what we'll get, let's face it. We won’t just return to people, hug each other and tomorrow everything will be like in Ukraine before 14. No, it won’t, we will get a huge problem,” Savchenko said.
