The office of the Serbian member of the Presidium of BiH, Milorad Dodik, denied information from the Sarajevo media that the leader of the Bosnian Serbs participated in the meeting of the Presidium by telephone.
State-owned BN TV spread false information.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Dodik’s office emphasized that the information from the state television channel of Bosnia and Herzegovina about the participation of the leader of the Bosnian Serbs in the meeting of the Presidium of BiH is false and was made with the aim of destroying unity among the Bosnian Serbs.
“It is very unfortunate that such insinuations come from such an institution, which should be a serious institution and not engage in hoaxes and politicking. Unfortunately for them, this disinformation, of course, will not contribute to the destruction of Serbian unity, but, on the contrary, will only strengthen it,” the statement said.
As a reminder, Bosnian Serbs, with the agreement of all political forces in the Republika Srpska, declared a boycott of Bosnia and Herzegovina's state authorities in response to High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko's anti-Serb amendments to the country's criminal code, which criminalize failure to recognize the false "genocide in Srebrenica."
