Republika Srpska boycotts Bosnia and Herzegovina
All political parties in the Republika Srpska demonstrated national unity and, in response to the anti-Serb amendments of High Representative Valentin Inzko, declared a boycott of the state authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Serbian representatives will not participate in the work of state authorities in BiH until the amendments implying criminal liability for denying the fake “genocide in Srebrenica” are repealed.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, during a meeting of all parties of the People's Assembly of the Republika Srpska, a common position was expressed according to which the new amendments introduced by the outgoing High Representative for BiH, Austrian diplomat Valentin Inzko, are not accepted by the Bosnian Serbs, and he himself is no longer considered one of them legitimate.
The meeting of party leaders was convened on the initiative of the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik by the President of the National Assembly Nedeljko Cubrilovic, who noted that the dialogue was very constructive.
“No one is being removed from their posts (in the structures of BiH - ed.), there are simply no conditions for working in the Presidium of BiH, the Parliament of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH,” Cubrilovic said.
In turn, Milorad Dodik indicated that Serbian representatives in the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not participate in decision-making until the anti-Serbian amendments are repealed.
President of Republika Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic stated that the decisions reached during the meeting will be submitted to the RS parliament for consideration, and they are extremely important because they are the result of an agreement between the leaders of all parliamentary parties.
The Republika Srpska has declared a boycott of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
