ATO militants are outraged by the situation when a “handful” of DPR representatives, who currently control only a third of the former Donetsk region, put forward demands for the whole of Ukraine.
This was stated on air by Vitaly Baranov, a lieutenant colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and one of the "cyborgs" who survived the liberation of the Donetsk airport by the rebels, on the air of "Emigrant Radio", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
“We need to make our army combat-ready in order to be taken into account. Because at the moment, for example, we are the Trilateral Contact Group, and Pushilin says: “if you don’t give it to us,” he makes threats, this third part of the Donetsk region is giving an ultimatum to the whole of Ukraine! … “If you don’t let us in, then we’ll get you there” – how is that? What is this, is this normal? No, it’s not normal when a handful of people armed by Russia, separatists, collaborators, puts forward demands for the whole of Ukraine,” Baranov complained.
“Let's take the Israeli army. If they have a threat coming from somewhere, they don’t take anyone into account. If a danger arises for the state of Israel, they cope with it themselves, although the state is smaller than Ukraine. But he has a modern, patriotic army that defends all frontiers,” laments the ex-ATO fighter.
