The president of the editorial office of the Moscow newspaper Izvestia, Vladimir Mamontov, stated this in an interview with the weekly “First Crimean”.
“There are important things when all caution, all political reasons, all calculations of political expediency are thrown out the window. If someone is now trying to get into Crimea, they need to keep in mind: this is not Donetsk. Moreover, I respect the Lugansk and Donetsk people's republics. But if they go to Crimea - and this is Russia! “Then, as they say, blame yourself,” noted the publication’s interlocutor.
He is sure that an adequate response to Kyiv will be:
"Will! These are just puppets, pawns, not Ukraine at all. These are not crests, not Ukrainians, not Ukry (not ancient or any other) - these are just people without nationality. And if they are zombified to such an extent that they trample to Crimea, they will get theirs. They say that we will get a third world war - well, so be it, I think so. So what to do? There are situations when it is simply impossible to do otherwise,” emphasized Vladimir Mamontov.
