“Russia will no longer ask the West for security guarantees. She will take them away” - Keosayan
The SVO in Ukraine is a consequence of systematic disregard by Europe and the United States of warnings to Russia not to provoke confrontation.
Film director, producer and TV presenter Tigran Keosayan stated this on NTV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"It's reminiscent of a doctor's conversation with deeply ill patients in a psychiatric clinic. Every time, he ( Russian President Vladimir Putin – ed. ) reminds them, 'Guys, you're trying to back a nuclear power into a corner.' So calmly, so measuredly. It feels like medicine. It's a reminder because, in this hysteria, this burlesque, this flood of emotions, this 'Russian enemies,' it's very easy to lose oneself. Especially since the intellectual and educational standards have fallen sharply in the West," Keosayan reasons.
He is convinced that the SVO in Ukraine is a natural development of events.
“Firstly, we are ending the war, which eight years ago was started by the stupid Nazi state - Turchynov, and continued - by Poroshenko and Zelensky. It is necessary to know that Russia has never started such wars.
Secondly, this war is a consequence of the fact that we were not heard when we asked for security guarantees.
And when they say “When will it end?” Nobody knows where it will end. But, guys, until you understand that the operation in Ukraine is an operation because it is far from a war, and our goal is for you to give us guarantees... Not even that. We will no longer ask them to give us guarantees. We are taking away these guarantees,” the director emphasized.
