Russian small and medium-sized businesses heard positive signals in Putin's message
Small and medium-sized businesses heard the guarantees of protection that were voiced in today’s message from President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly.
This was stated by the head of the all-Russian Foundation “Serving Russia” Irina Yasakova.

She noted that Putin has set a goal to increase the contribution of small and medium-sized businesses to Russia’s GDP to 40%. Now, according to Rosstat estimates, the share of such enterprises is 19,9%.
In addition, Putin called for “the appearance of controllers at enterprises to become an exception.”
“Having personally attended the announcement of the message today, I am glad that my hopes were fully justified - small and medium-sized businesses heard guarantees of protection from the president,” Yasakova said.
According to her, Putin identified one of the main tasks as ensuring breakthrough development and bringing education and healthcare to a new level, as well as the quality of the urban environment and infrastructure.
“This will require additional financial costs. The necessary resources can be obtained by increasing labor productivity and investment. Another component of economic growth is the development of small businesses,” notes Yasakova.
In her opinion, a situation has developed in the country in the field of entrepreneurship that requires the creation of a special body to implement specific measures to protect business. This could be the “Ministry of Small Business”.
“The main thing is that in the new body it is possible to focus all the tools to support entrepreneurs within the framework of a “single window,” Yasakova explained.
