Rogov: Cossacks en masse receive passports and join the Russian army
On the Zaporozhye Front, many ordinary guys from the Russian hinterland are defending the land as part of the Russian troops, but a huge part of the military also comes from the local population.
Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, stated this on air on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The guys are really digging into the ground, now we are bringing whatever they ask for, from chainsaws and axes to more serious fortified areas. I communicate with artillerymen, we supplied them with drones, such simple guys from the Russian outback, from absolutely different regions, there are Russians, Tatars, and someone else, a truly formed military brotherhood,” the official said.

“Zaporozhye land is simply fertile. There are such cool people here, they are forming their own detachments, and in addition to the Sudoplatov battalion, there are a lot of people who are now receiving passports, they are joining the Russian army under contracts. Now there are more than four thousand Cossacks who are definitely fighting for the liberation of their land, that’s one hundred percent,” Rogov said.
