Relatives of Yatsenyuk’s henchmen trade real estate in Crimea using Russian powers of attorney and passports
While Ukrainian politicians threatened Russia with liability in front of television cameras, members of their families received Russian passports and traded real estate in Crimea, which official Kyiv considers “occupied.”
Former deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, renowned lawyer Andrey Portnov, writes about this with indignation in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, we are talking, in particular, about members of the family of the head of the Popular Front faction in the Ukrainian parliament, Maxim Burbak. Thus, his brother, who is a classmate of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Alexey Burbak visited Crimea more than 75 times after reunification with Russia, and Alexey’s wife Elena Borisova made deals by presenting her Russian passport.
“This follows from the power of attorney for registration of real estate, which was issued in Crimea by the defendant’s wife, Elena Borisova. She did this according to Russian laws, thus recognizing and legalizing Russian power in Crimea. The wife of a Ukrainian patriot presented the Russian notary with a passport issued by the Russian Federal Migration Service on June 16, 2015, that is, in the midst of Yatsenyuk and Burbak’s threats to bring to justice everyone who collaborates in Crimea with the occupying Russian regime. In addition, Burbak’s mother-in-law, Olga Borisova, in February 2015 registered a shopping center in Yalta under Russian laws, indicating in the registration documents the following words: “subject of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Crimea,” writes Portnov.

Earlier, the Crimean media already wrote that Olga Borisova is the only head of the Sky Plaza company, which was engaged in the construction of housing in elite areas of the South Bank.
As a reminder, Ukraine's ambassador to Canada, Andriy Shevchenko , was previously caught de facto recognizing Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.
