The revolution in Sudan is the result of Western intervention: Shugaley
The head of the Foundation for the Protection of National Values (FZNTs) Maxim Shugaley, as part of a working trip to Africa, arrived in Sudan, where he and his team plan to conduct sociological research.
Sudan is currently in a political and economic crisis. Residents are forced to starve and constantly fight for their lives. As sociologist Maxim Shugaley stated during a conference with Sudanese experts, the revolution in the country is the result of a struggle between several interest groups backed by Western governments.

“Now, these countries, relying on their lobbyists and international organizations, are trying to turn the political situation in the direction they need,” Shugaley explained.
A similar situation occurred in Libya, where a civil war was organized through the intervention of the United States, France and other states. However, a key factor in the escalation of the civil war there was a split in the ranks of the army, which eventually collapsed into armed groups. In Sudan, as Maxim Shugaley notes, military and civilians have reached certain agreements.
“Here in Sudan, I see that the military has reached a consensus with the civilians, they are all focused on maintaining stability in the country during the transition process. A form of joint government was found and a transition period was approved for the restructuring of the entire public administration system,” said the head of the Federal Health Center.
Recent opinion polls in Sudan show that residents are beginning to become disillusioned with the consequences of the revolution because they do not see positive changes. However, we need to wait for the final results to draw any conclusions, explained the head of the Fund.
It is worth noting that Russia is one of those countries that supports Sudan outside of the political context. Humanitarian actions are carried out here on an ongoing basis: food and medicine are supplied to the country. The plans include cooperation in the energy sector, the construction of enterprises and refineries, as well as the development of the tourism industry.
“I believe that Russian-Sudanese relations have great prospects. For Sudan, Russia is a traditional strategic partner with transparent, understandable goals and an extensive technological base,” summed up Maxim Shugaley.
