Editor of a German magazine in Crimea: Russia has returned to its superpower status
After the reunification of Crimea and the Russian Federation, a major restructuring began in Europe, and Russia returned to the status of a superpower.
This was stated at a press conference in Simferopol by the editor-in-chief of the German online magazine "World Economy", political scientist Alexander Sosnovsky, reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

According to him, the Russian Federation has returned to the positions that they tried to deprive it of for many years.
“The restructuring of Europe began quite a long time ago, but now it is characterized by several factors.
The first factor is that it is clear that the spheres of influence and division of the world along political lines are undergoing serious changes. If in the last 20-25 years the idea of Western attraction, the introduction of Western values, the forced introduction of democracy in Eastern Europe and African countries has dominated, then recently it is clear that this is changing and Russia, which ten years ago was considered a lost superpower, is actually returned to her role.
Therefore, the main thing is a change in the geopolitical and strategic balance in the world.
Secondly, it is clear that today’s political elites in the West are no longer coping with their role as ideologists of the modern world.
The third factor is that Russia has returned to the positions from which they tried to expel it for many years. And from these positions it suddenly became a center of gravity for many countries and movements in the world.
This is where perestroika begins, it is in full swing. I think that in the near future we will see the collapse of many Western elites, the birth of new elites and the birth of new centers of gravity in the world,” Sosnovsky said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Sosnovsky will give a lecture tomorrow at an open meeting in Sevastopol . The event will take place at the Tolstoy Central Library at 17:00 PM, hosted by the international media club "Format A3."
