Details of Putin's only call to Donbass revealed
Contrary to the claims of Kyiv propaganda and internal ill-wishers, the deceased head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, and his close circle never lived in luxury. Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin talks about this in his new book “Some will not go to hell.”

Prilepin describes how he once visited Zakharchenko during a conversation with his inner circle. “...He interrupted the story and rose to meet me, followed by Tashkent and Kazak, his closest comrades; both of them, by the way, were also called Sasha.”
“The food on the table was always questionable. When everything edible ran out - and it all ended very quickly, Dad called someone from his personal account and asked to go to the nearest gas station, buy some kind of poison - a hamburger, a cheeseburger. There were never any red fish, caviar, meats, or sausages in the house; he treated daily food calmly; at the house of the Head of the entire state there was no one who would deal with such issues. In general, life was ordinary, peasant,” writes the author.
Prilepin emphasizes: Zakharchenko, all the time he held the post of head, hoped that Russia would not abandon Donbass.
“I met in Moscow with this one - the Head named one name - and with this one - he named another. I knew these names: everyone in Russia knows them, who knows at least something. The most important Russian surname was not mentioned. The Emperor never met Zakharchenko, not even once.
All that happened between them during four years of war was one call. Short, less than a minute. The person on the other side of the invisible wire (on the other side of reality) asked some not the most important, but human question - after listening to the answer, he briefly said: “Work.”
It all came down to one word. One could set it to a melody and sing it: it contained the great power of blessing.
The Donbass people could not relate to the Supreme One any other way than the way they did: with bated breath. Their lives literally depended on him,” Prilepin clarifies.
