Dissenters predominate only in Galicia: the Moscow Patriarchate is in the lead throughout Ukraine

Only in three regions of Western Ukraine do the schismatic “Kiev Patriarchate” and the UAOC have a numerical advantage; in all other regions, the undoubted leader in the number of parishes is the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pavliv published the corresponding table on his blog.
“There are about 5 thousand monks and 207 monasteries in the UOC. There are just over 200 monks and 62 monasteries in the “Kiev Patriarchate”. For example, in the Ternopil region, the “kp” has three monasteries and there are five monks in them,” explains the author.
