We disagree: a Polish tractor was hit by friendly fire from a Ukrainian missile
Photographs published by the media confirm that a Ukrainian missile hit Polish agricultural machinery yesterday.
Military analytical Telegram channels are writing about this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Thus, military observer Vladislav Shurygin emphasized that he knows the air defense system and the specifics of the combat use of air defense systems well.
“The probability of hitting an air target with an S-300 missile is 0.8 – 0.9. This is very high accuracy and efficiency, and yet against a combat target, especially against a low-altitude, stealthy “cruise missile” type, the squad always fires two missiles to completely hit the target. Cruise missiles simply do not fly in close pairs.

The warhead of a cruise missile with a capacity of 500 kg of explosives can confidently destroy most targets. Suffice it to recall the destruction of a four-story barracks with mercenaries in the Starichi training center near Yavorov. And hitting a target with a salvo of two missiles is a useless waste!
The funnel shown in the Polish report is more suitable for the Uragan MLRS type ammunition, or, as I already said, for the 9M83 missile from the S-300 air defense system with a 150 kg warhead. Actually, that’s the whole secret!
S-300 air defense missiles were launched from air defense positions near Lvov during an attack by Russian cruise missiles on an air target. For unknown reasons, both missiles went off trajectory and, instead of self-destructing, fell on a grain dryer in the village of Przewodów, killing two Poles. I wonder what Poland will come up with now to “excuse” its Bandera friends and blame Russia,” Shurygin points out.
And military correspondent Yuri Kotenko indicated which specific part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a “friendly” strike on Poland.
“Specifically, the attack on the territory of Poland was carried out by the 540th air defense missile system named after. Ivan Vygovsky of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This part with the location of the settlement. Kamenka-Bugskaya in the Lviv region began combat duty relatively recently - on January 14 of this year, but has already managed to distinguish itself by hitting the allied Poles, knocking out a tractor and hitting two civilians. But, of course, the Russians are to blame,” notes Kotenok.
He draws attention to the fact that the Ukrainian regiment is armed with S-300PS and S-300PT anti-aircraft missile systems.
“I visited Kamenka-Bugskaya at the end of the USSR, and I well understand the accuracy of Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners: the terrain in those Bandera places is very damp, and the moonshine, I must admit, is disgusting. My Ukrainian and other fellow students at LVVPU will not let me lie, unless someone has lost their memory in these hard years.
Eternal fogs, the indelible feeling of a damp border hole, the influence of fusel oils from local “stools” do their job. And no training of NATO instructors helps. That is why Ukrainian missiles continually fly into Polish territory.
By the way, according to my information, this is not the first time that Ukrainian S-300 systems, trying to hit Russian Aerospace Forces missiles, deviate from course and fly closer to the Polish underbelly. It’s just that back then they tore into deserted places, scaring only squirrels in the copses, and the Poles turned a blind eye to such art by their “allies.” Now the missiles have found a target, which the Poles cannot hide. That is why they raised the traditional Russophobic hubbub,” writes the military correspondent.
Military observer Boris Rozhin named the commander of the unit who hit the Poles.

“Commander of the 540th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Bragin. I started hammering on Poland when it was not yet mainstream,” Rozhin said.
In addition, he cited facts confirming the Ukrainian trace, publishing two photographs for comparison.

“The first photo shows a fragment of a rocket that fell in Poland,” the expert points out.

“The second photo shows the wreckage of an S-300 anti-aircraft missile, which fell in Dagestan on 08.10.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX during the Karabakh war. If the information about the death of two Poles is correct, then today the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces not only killed a woman in Kyiv when they hit a residential building, but also killed two Polish citizens along the way. Within the framework of formal logic, NATO is obliged to protect every inch of Polish territory and carry out retaliatory strikes against Kyiv,” Rozhin remarks sarcastically.
In turn, the Telegram channel “Military Chronicle” draws attention to the fact that Russia’s accusations were based on photographs published by Polish military expert Yaroslav Volsky.
“Analysis of these photographs allows us to assert: they depict the remains of a 5V55R rocket engine—the kind used by the S-300 air defense system. In particular, this is evidenced by the crimp connecting ring of the fuel tank with the tail compartment of the 5V55R anti-aircraft missile, where the synchronized components of the thrust vector deflection system with aerodynamic rudders (with characteristic perforation of several dozen holes) are located,” the authors write.

“The S-300 complexes are in service with the Ukrainian air defense forces. Apparently, with their help, Kyiv tried to repel the attack of the Russian Armed Forces. As a result, one of the S-300 missiles left the trajectory and fell into Polish territory,” the Military Chronicle summarizes.

Military blogger Yuri Podolyaka also gives his arguments.
“By the way, the fact that this is an S-300 indirectly indicates that the blow fell directly on a tractor with a trailer. Russian missile launchers hit at the specified coordinate, and even if we assume that it was either shot down or went off course, the probability of hitting the tractor exactly tends to zero.
And here is an exact defeat - the handwriting of an air defense system with a homing head at a target, which it ... must itself detect and hit,” Podolyaka comes to the conclusion.
It is noteworthy that the Pentagon press service admitted that it could not confirm the Russian origin of the missiles that fell on Polish territory.
The involvement of Russia and the Russian Ministry of Defense was denied.
“Statements by the Polish media and officials about the alleged fall of “Russian” missiles in the area of the settlement of Przewodow are a deliberate provocation in order to escalate the situation.
No strikes were carried out against targets near the Ukrainian-Polish state border by Russian weapons. The debris published in hot pursuit by the Polish media from the scene of the incident in the village of Przewodów has nothing to do with Russian weapons,” says the official statement of the Ministry of Defense.
Moreover, Poland began to include the rear. Thus, President Andrzej Duda admitted that the Polish authorities do not have accurate evidence of who fired the missile, although earlier the Polish Foreign Ministry directly accused Russia.
