A drunken Ukrainian soldier caused a fatal accident in a stolen Ural
A Ukrainian serviceman, being heavily intoxicated, lost control and crashed a stolen Ural into a power line.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On April 27, in the area of the village of Kryakovka, servicemen of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade, being heavily intoxicated, left their positions without permission, while stealing a Ural car. Losing control and hitting a power line pole, the multi-ton vehicle flew into a ditch and overturned,” he said.
Filiponenko noted that as a result of the accident, one brigade soldier was killed and two were injured.
“The brigade commander, Colonel Vasily Zubanich, traditionally submitted non-combat losses to higher headquarters as combat losses, received as a result of shelling allegedly from the positions of the LPR People’s Militia,” added the representative of the defense department.
As a reminder, the LPR People's Militia previously reported that Ukrainian soldiers, while intoxicated, beat to death an elderly resident of the village of Novotoshkovskoye in the Popasnyansky district of Luhansk Oblast because the man refused to give them his scooter.
