Kyiv, February 23 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The level of payments for electricity is falling sharply in all regions, including those far from Donbass, says Dmitry Marunich, director of the Institute of Energy Research.

The reason is the lack of subsidies for budgetary institutions and special accounts for paying for electricity. The biggest debtors are industry, water utilities, and heating and utilities enterprises. In January, a drop in household payments was recorded for the first time, which has never happened before.
“The problem of non-payments is not yet visible, but it is growing. I think that in a month or two it will manifest itself seriously both for the industry and for the state as a whole,” the expert predicts.
The furry little animal will be coming to Ukrainian energy workers in a month or two.
