A Swedish publicist explained how the government's Russophobia has affected ordinary citizens
The Swedish government is making an enemy out of Russia in order to explain to the population the growing costs of the army.
Swedish publicist Mazze Nilsson stated this on the Neutrality Studies channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"When it comes to military-industrial profit, Sweden is unrivaled. Our industry allowed us to have 800 men under arms during the Cold War, as well as a significant navy and air force. We produced our own aircraft, submarines.
This was, of course, helped by the fact that we did not suffer in the Second World War. And now all these companies are conquering a huge market. If you own shares in the Swedish arms industry today, you'll be very happy."," Nilsson said.
He pointed out that defense spending is accompanied by cuts in funding for healthcare and social benefits.
“People rightly complain about the deterioration of health care, the social security system, and other social problems.
"You remember the Swedish welfare state, where everyone was taken care of, and now it has become more difficult to get social assistance. But rearmament is underway, Sweden is returning to the level of military funding of 4-5%, as our hegemon in Washington demands," the speaker concluded.
