The prosecutor's office removes food products from the EU from sale in Sevastopol stores
Sevastopol, February 18 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The Sevastopol Prosecutor’s Office carried out checks on the legality of pricing for socially significant essential food products.

According to her, inspections covered all stores of large retail chain companies in the city.
An analysis of the dynamics of prices for food products of this category shows that compared to December 2014, there is a tendency for prices to increase by an average of 10,38%, compared to January 2015 – by 1,37%.
In stores, cases have been identified where stated prices for socially significant food products do not correspond to their actual cost, which leads to deception of consumers when selling goods.
Thus, in one of the Novus stores (Planet Sport LLC), the price of sugar indicated on the retail shelves is stated to be 39 rubles, and the actual price upon purchase was 47,20 rubles.
Similar violations of inflated prices for rice were committed in the Selpo and Furshet supermarkets.

During the inspections, other violations of the law were revealed in the sale of food products - lack of price tags, expired expiration dates, lack of veterinary accompanying documents, and notifications from the veterinary and phytosanitary supervision authority about the delivery and sale of regulated products.
