Pridnestrovian deputy detained in Kyiv will be extradited to Moldova
Chisinau - Tiraspol, August 26 (Navigator, Petr Alekseev) - Deputy of the Supreme Council of Transnistria Dmitry Soin, arrested in Kyiv, will be extradited to Moldova.

This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Moldova, which confirmed the fact of Soin's arrest in Ukraine. The Moldovan department informed that he was detained when he was returning from the Russian capital, Publika.md reports.
According to the Moldovan online publication NewsMaker, Transnistrian deputy Dmitry Soin, who was put on the Interpol wanted list by Moldova for a murder committed in 1994, was detained by Ukrainian police in Kyiv on August 23. At first he was detained for three days, and yesterday his period of detention was extended to 40 days. Soin's lawyer Mikhail Chelyaev intends to appeal this court decision in the near future to the Kyiv Court of Appeal.
Since 2013, the parliamentarian has lived in Odessa, fearing persecution by the Transnistrian authorities.
