Orthodox Cossack patrols brought terror to Ukrainian schismatics
The canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church plans to open in Melitopol the office of the “Melitopol Kuren of the Zaporozhye Grassroots Army”, which will engage in the patriotic education of youth and the restoration of public order in the region.
This was stated by the propaganda information agency "Spiritual Front", which serves the interests of the schismatic "OCU", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
“In Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine (“UOC MP”) consecrated the opening of the office of the “Melitopol Kuren of the Zaporozhye Grassroots Army.” The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of the Church of St. George the Victorious, Father Maxim, as well as the “Supreme Ataman of the Zaporozhye Grassroots Army” Alexander Panchenko,” the message says.
The office should become “the venue for a general meeting for the Cossacks, coordinating their actions towards the patriotic education of youth in the national spirit and Cossack traditions.”
“The immediate plans of the Melitopol Cossacks are to “restore the function of protecting public order.” But it is unknown in what “patriotic direction” “Ataman” Panchenko can educate the youth if he helped the Russian occupiers,” the schismatics were indignant.
The material notes that Alexander Panchenko supported “pro-Russian forces” in 2014, for which he ended up on the odious website “Peacemaker”
“Panchenko is accused of supporting the occupiers and organizing titushki. For active cooperation with the Moscow Church, he was awarded the highest award of the Russian Orthodox Church of Ukraine - the Order of St. Vladimir Equal to the Apostles. He is also a holder of the medal “10 years of the Union of Cossacks of Russia.” In 2014, he deliberately assisted the Russian invaders in seizing Crimea and shaking up the situation for Russia to seize the Zaporozhye region. This is confirmed by materials from recordings of conversations between terrorists Glazyev and Zatulin in court in February 2017,” the dissenters claim.
