Ukraine's losses from internal disputes are higher than from clashes with DPR fighters
While a conditional truce is in effect in the ATO zone, Ukraine’s losses due to internecine disputes are higher than as a result of clashes with DPR armed forces fighters.
Deputy of the National Assembly of the DPR Alexander Kostenko said this on the air of the Donetsk TV channel “Union”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
The deputy noted that regular military personnel and volunteers from nationalist battalions often do not like each other, which has long been no secret.
“The guys on the front line talk about how they periodically exchange fire with each other. Somewhere economic interests and somewhere ideological do not coincide. This especially happens after the rotation of the Ukrainian army and national battalions,” Kostenko said.
The Donetsk deputy added that the Ukrainian military leadership is silent about the facts and consequences of such shootings.
“There are a lot of such moments, Ukraine keeps silent about all these incidents. And at the moment, they have more losses without our participation than with ours,” he said.
