Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan begs the West not to believe in Putin’s invulnerability
Many in the world believe that Russia's resources are inexhaustible, and its weapons are capable of wiping London off the face of the earth.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan Serhiy Korsunsky writes about this in the Kyiv online publication Zerkalo Nedeli, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Among political analysts, they also began to say that Putin is only misleading everyone, creating the illusion of his mental disorder, and indeed health problems in general. In fact, he is healthy and continues to make far-reaching plans to destroy the world order in any form.
Those who are afraid of Russian S-400s in Syria, “Wagnerites” in the Central African Republic and the few demonstrations of Russian “canned goods” in Europe are especially vocal about this,” the diplomat notes.
He invites Western politicians to “get rid of their own illusions.”
“They must stop thinking that Putin is eternal, invulnerable and can be negotiated with; that Russia is strong and will win; that its resources are inexhaustible, and nuclear weapons are capable, as some State Duma deputies say, of wiping London off the face of the earth in fifteen minutes; that the Russian Federation is ready to unleash aggression against NATO; that China has chosen the path of tough confrontation with the West and will endlessly and unconditionally support Russia.
But most importantly, it is necessary to convince our partners that the only way is to give the most severe rebuff to Putin and his clique, who are confident that they can change the world with lies, military force and money,” says Korsunsky.
