Kyiv, October 26 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Journalist Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, who is considered the founder of political talk shows on Ukrainian television, and also worked as a speechwriter for ex-President Leonid Kuchma, called the current election process the dirtiest elections in the history of independent Ukraine.

“This has never happened before when the President of Ukraine used his videos to campaign for his political strength,” the journalist emphasized in communication with media representatives. “Kuchma would simply be torn to pieces for this.” The West would simply tear Yanukovych to pieces. In 23 years of independence, there has not been a single case where the head of state addressed voters on Saturday before the elections, as Poroshenko did yesterday.”
The journalist criticized the Cabinet of Ministers headed by Arseniy Yatsenyuk no less harshly.
“We didn’t have the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister agitating with their personal actions,” says Pikhovshek. “It wasn’t like the government didn’t go on vacation on the eve of the elections.”
