Poroshenko joined the “Kyiv Patriarchate”
Kyiv, January 07 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Petro Poroshenko, who previously positioned himself as a parishioner of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate, celebrated Christmas at a service in the Holy Cross Monastery of the unrecognized “Kyiv Patriarchate” in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

“The service in honor of Christmas was conducted by Metropolitan Joasaph of Ivano-Frankivsk and Galicia of the UOC KP and the rector of the monastery, Father Paisiy. At the end of the service, the President attended the performance of the nativity scene and talked with the believers who came to the Christmas service. Together with everyone else, the presidential family sang Christmas carols,” the press service of the head of state reports.
