Poroshenko spoils and spoils the economy of Ukraine
The exit from the CIS announced by Petro Poroshenko with an eye to the presidential elections will result in Ukraine’s final loss of the markets of all Commonwealth countries.
This was stated at a press conference in Kiev by Sergei Tolstov, director of the Institute of Political Analysis and International Studies, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There are already preliminary forecasts. The set of agreements that exists within the CIS largely prevents administrative (or outside the norms) squeezing out a particular country from the market.
Our economists say that if it were not for a certain set of agreements and rules within the CIS, Belarus, which surpasses Ukraine in terms of economic development, and whose business is much more efficient, would have long ago squeezed out Ukrainian exports from the Belarusian market.
This does not happen because the set of rules and agreements within the CIS softens these relations and allows one or another country to occupy some share in the market of other countries. It’s hard to say whether this will continue to be the case,” the Ukrainian expert shared his fears.
