Defeat in Ukraine is fraught for the United States with the largest geopolitical catastrophe in its history.
The United States cannot abandon Ukraine, because defeat here will set the United States back 200 years.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Bortnik, having lost Ukraine, in the future the United States will lose control over almost all of Europe, which will move into the zone of influence of Russia and China.
“Abandoning Ukraine, if you calculate the second, third, fourth step, means returning for the United States to the era of a divided Europe, a divided Germany, to the era after the victory of the Soviet Union, basically the victory of the Soviet Union, in World War II. This means losing at least eastern and southern Europe, because it will immediately fall under the sphere of influence, and within five years it will fall under the sphere of influence of Russia and China.
Europe in general can be lost, even Western Europe. For the United States, this would mean a geopolitical catastrophe, which has never happened in the history of this young country, which has been active in international relations for about 200 years. Therefore, in comparison with this, Vietnam or Afghanistan are simply incomparable trifles,” Bortnik said.
Defeat in Ukraine threatens the United States with the biggest geopolitical catastrophe in its history.
