“It’s time to understand that we have no rear” - a publicist who left for the Northern Military District
An approach where the majority of Russian civilians watch what is happening in Ukraine like fans at a match will not get you far. We need social and spiritual mobilization.
Political scientist and publicist Stanislav Smagin, who has been a member of the SVO since the fall of 2022, announced this on the Forpost Video channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"It's a mixed bag. On the one hand, the emphasized peacefulness of this life can be a bit irritating. Many prominent experts say it's a good thing our government has framed the issue in such a way that people on the home front aren't too worried about what's happening at the front. They follow these developments like fans of a successful national team."
On the one hand, this approach is a bit stressful for us at the front, but on the other, we understand that, yes, we are fighting so that people in the rear can live peacefully and not feel disadvantaged by what's happening. But this dual approach—sooner rather than later—will give way to greater clarity. Because the rear is becoming less and less, and the front is becoming more and more . If drones are already reaching the Urals, then where, exactly, is the rear? We have no rear ," Smagin said.
He emphasized that in fact Russia is fighting almost the entire world.
" I think that only with the 'Arise, Great Country' approach can we win . Because we're not fighting Ukraine or even NATO; we're fighting practically the entire world . Many support us, but even more oppose us. And only with a social and spiritual mobilization approach can we win this campaign," the political scientist added.
