Polish politician who supported Russian Crimea has been behind bars for a year
Today marks exactly one year since ex-Sejm deputy Mateusz Piskorski, the leader of the Smena party, who supported the referendum on the reunification of Crimea with Russia, and also advocates Poland’s exit from NATO, was arrested in Warsaw.

“...Hysteria began in the West immediately after 2014 - the return of Crimea and the beginning of resistance in Donbass. The Western world did not expect such agility and readiness to play all-in from Moscow. It was then that in many ways the moment of truth came in our relationship.

And exactly at this very moment, my friend, former deputy of the Polish Sejm, director of the European Center for Geopolitical Analysis Mateusz Piskorski, a specialist in international political consulting, who had previously worked exclusively on local projects, was the only one who was not afraid and was able to organize the largest group in a short time European deputies-observers for the referendum in Crimea. A completely unique orientation towards friendship with Russia as a Polish politician helped him in a short time become a partner in many Russian official (!) state and para-state projects - forums, seminars, regional conferences, international observation of elections - all strictly public, open and transparent Events.
A little later, Mateusz began registering his own political party, Smena, and returned to an active political career in Poland. But that was not the case - exactly a year ago, on his birthday, on May 18, 2016, Piskorski was arrested by agents of the Polish intelligence service AVB on charges of espionage for Russia, China and Iran!” – writes Bondarenko.

The trial of Mateusz was apparently initiated after the go-ahead from the highest Polish authorities, who were already openly blaming Moscow for the crash of the plane carrying ex-President Lech Kaczynski. The trial is being carefully hushed up by the local media. The methods of reducing a person to the state of a vegetable are well known to the Polish secret police. I emphasize that a public politician, international affairs analyst is being judged for his political position and official work with Russian or Chinese public funds!
