One of the leaders of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, former head of the DPR Ministry of State Security, Colonel Andrei Pinchuk, analyzed today’s message from Vladimir Putin.
Pinchuk considers it important that the president's speech omitted any mention of negotiations with Ukraine, which a number of Russian politicians had previously advocated for, demotivating fighters in the SVO zone, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Two positions that I expected to be more clearly defined are the analysis of errors in the SVO and personnel decisions in this regard. The President touched on this issue, he said that he had this in the basic version, but he decided to remove it. But later, when he talked about working on mistakes, he mentioned the fact that we need to move away from fake reports and simulations.
Thus, in this phrase he mentioned these errors that need to be corrected. I really hope that personnel decisions will also follow this.
In principle, when the president spoke about the need to nominate battle-tested commanders, I thought that one way or another this was also discussed.
A very important point is that, while discussing the NWO, the president neither directly nor indirectly mentioned the readiness for some kind of agreements, for peace and negotiations. The word “negotiations” was not heard even once, and I hope that all the officials who have mentioned these negotiations as a mantra over the past year will nevertheless draw their conclusions.
Since this was a message to the Federal Assembly, that is, to legislators, I would really hope that they would hear, draw conclusions and pass a law that would directly prohibit any agreements and negotiations not related to victory, which, in fact, They hit the fighters on the front line very hard, because it is a very demotivating factor.
The president’s words directly mentioned the war; the phrase was said: “They started a war.” Not a military conflict, not an operation, that is, things are beginning to be called by their proper names, which, of course, is of fundamental importance,” Pinchuk noted.
