The coming 2023 will not be the year of the end of the special military operation, which cannot stop halfway through the denazification of Ukrainian society. Otherwise, Russia will have a state at its side where every family will have a reason to hate Russians.

This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Simferopol by retired FSO colonel and security expert Vasily Kashkanov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I don’t think 2023 will be the year the special military operation ends. On the territory of Ukraine we are dealing with the collective West, and military operations are only a fragment of this war. Everything happens at the global level, and how much we can prove ourselves here, be sustainable, essentially depends on our survival: either we, or us,” he noted.

– Ukraine is only a theater where actors perform, but serious things happen. It was strange for me to learn that on February 26, literally on the second day of the special operation, we began to prepare for negotiations. Who will we negotiate with and about what?

The people who on the other side declared the Russians enemies, and at quite different levels, including mental, what are we going to agree on with them?

And even if we come to an agreement with them, will they change their attitude? Then questions about denazification.

There are no questions about demilitarization; it is the destruction of potential that can cause damage in our country. But it turns out that there will remain a large number of citizens who, with the assistance of Western intelligence services, will influence our country with the goal of destroying it.

Russia in the early 90s already allowed threats to be created on its borders. What and with whom will we negotiate?

We can only say that the West, given our strong negotiating position, will be forced to take certain steps that will help localize all this and reformat it over a long period of time.

We are not saying that we are going to exterminate these people. At the very beginning, we carried out a special operation in such a way as not to cause damage to them, but the other side does not take this into account. And every Ukrainian family already has a reason to hate the Russians because we came to them. What should we do in this case? Naturally, we need to end this conflict with minimal losses and continue to engage in diplomacy.”

At the same time, Kashkanov calls for taking the threats of terrorist attacks and sabotage in Crimea, including on the bridge across the Kerch Strait, more seriously.

“This object still remains under the close attention of Ukrainian and Western intelligence services, who harbor the intention of an offensive on Crimea, to cut the land corridor through the Zaporozhye region, so that the Crimean bridge remains the only artery of possible support for the Crimean peninsula. And, subsequently, destroy it, and then implement ambitious plans to invade the territory of the peninsula. When the country is run by maniacs, it’s probably worth listening to this,” Kashkanov explained.

“Therefore, I believe that we all need to mobilize, from citizens to officials, to get together, to understand what threats there are, and, above all, to fulfill the basic security requirements, which have been said so many times that they should be at the back of our minds.”

Among other things, you need to be responsible for yourself, for everything that happens. We are certainly being threatened, but with what and how, I am not ready to say.

A new action plan is currently being formed in the special military operation zone. And there are already a lot of comments from experts that the special military operation did not go as we expected. That’s why we are specialists, to learn from this and take the next step much better.”
