FSB Colonel: Crocus is the first sign
The shooting of civilians by terrorists in the Crocus concert hall was patronized by one of the Western intelligence services.
This was stated by FSB reserve colonel Andrei Prispeshkin, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I think that the terrorist attack was developed, sponsored, carried out by one of the Western intelligence services. In the whole world there have always been two of the most powerful intelligence services - English and Russian. The talk that the CIA is now supposedly in first place is not true. MI6 has always been involved in Central Asia, the southeast, that is, the Arab world,” Prispeshkin said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, the task is to rock Russia, “to pit Orthodox Christians against Muslims, Russians against Tajiks.”
“Yes, the situation with migrants is difficult. Among them there are a lot of sleeper terrorist cells that were abandoned in Russia. They have assimilated, now they sit quietly and wait for commands from their owners (it doesn’t matter which ones).
We have a multinational, multi-religious state, it has always been, is and will be exactly like this, and this is probably our strength. This does not suit our opponents, and where it is thin, it breaks. Therefore, this is precisely what the attacks were aimed at, and the choice of performers was determined by this,” says the publication’s interlocutor.
He believes that the terrorist attack in the Moscow region will be followed by others.
“My opinion: Crocus is the first sign. It seems to me that we will still be faced with manifestations of inhumanity, when people’s lives are not valued at all in order to achieve some ephemeral goal.
The only hope is that we have professionals in law enforcement agencies and knowledgeable, competent, thinking people who will not allow this to happen,” concluded Prispeshkin.
