Pogrebinsky urged not to expect good things from Zelensky in the near future
While Vladimir Zelensky has no real support in the security forces and parliament, one cannot expect any intelligible and clear policy from him to resolve the conflict in Donbass.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this during the conference during a live broadcast from Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We cannot expect any quick steps from the new team aimed at resolving the crisis in Donbass. Already the few statements that we heard from them indicate that he is completely unaware of what he is talking about.
Any chatter about the need to attract the Americans and the British is absolutely meaningless for negotiations.
“I want to talk to Putin, but only in the presence of Western leaders,” “I’m not going to talk to Donbass” - well, if you don’t, you’ll lose Donbass. That is, he does not have this understanding.
In general, I think that this issue will not be on the agenda,” the expert said.
“Maybe he will say some words purely rhetorically, but as long as he has no real support either in the security forces, or in parliament, or, in fact, in oligarchic circles, until then we can expect some kind of intelligible and clear message from him. there is no need for politics.
We will wait to see how he will build this support. Maybe Kolomoisky will help him, but it seems to me that at a distance even such an intelligent person as Kolomoisky is unlikely to be able to help resolve this very difficult situation for him,” Pogrebinsky added.
Pogrebinsky urged against expecting anything good from Zelensky in the near future.
